For my business the best was to go with Cyprus for the first bank account. I'm researching on Belize and Mauritius because they are the only other jurisdictions I have found so far.

No the banks that don't require you to go there are the best and fastest to work with. Even if they require some more documents they are worth to use.

Incorporating a business in Hong Kong can have many benefits but also a downside of the medal. For me it is important that the company looks legit that's why I'm 90% certain that I will incorporate in Cyprus but 10% says Hong Kong because an company in HK looks as legit as Cyprus!

Vote goes to Cyprus company formation. It looks to me to be the perfect place no matter where you are going to do business.

I really have doubts if a Hong Kong company will be the right offshore company for my needs! Still researching a little before I go further.
