I have always been very happy with my company in Cyprus. When I decided to start I consultant an agent that advertised to be able to do Cyprus company formation and asked if it really was the best to do in my situation with my business activity that mainly is taking place in Europe. We discuss forth and back over weeks to sort out all up/downs for the jurisdictions in question i.e. BVI, Malta, UK & Cyprus.

The major benefits in my point of view are:

  1. European offshore company with total privacy
  2. Option to open real merchant account in Europe for this company
  3. Option to open a real bank account in Cyprus for this company

Everything is delaed with remote, no need to visit or to meet with anyone. Beside that it seems to be recognized as an legit setup towards authorities and that means less troubles and discussions. Cyprus is part of the European Union and structured right 100% legit with the lowest tax to be paid in the European Union.

Thanks Demajor. Who did you use? Can you recommend any agents ?

Seems they are not that strict compared to Seychelles which is going crazy!

Hi all, I'm considering opening a Cyprus company. Can I get a few recommendations by forum members of 'value for money' reputable companies who can offer Cyprus company formation, bank account opening and annual accounting ? Also what are the implications of opening a Cyprus company when the sole director resides in France - as I believe the French govt view where the director is residing for tax purposes ? Lastly, can a nominee Director be appointed in Cyprus to maintain that the company is 'really' run out of Cyprus - not France!? All answers appreciated. Thanks.

I found my self lost until I suddenly found this forum where I could read about all what I didn't could get answered so I decided to contact Admin and got company + bank account in Cyprus for total costs 2895 euro.

Simply appoint a nominee director + shareholder and no one will ever find out that the company belongs to you.

Yes that's possible. It's even possible to appoint foreign nominee director and shareholder so the company can be registered non resident.

Some of the major reasons for me to start the process of registering a Cyprus company is to have the possibility to bank in Europe and even get payment processors to accept me.
