With the first request for information on a crypto trading platform, a significant step has been taken in an area that has so far been "a considerable dark area", said NRW Finance Minister Marcus Optendrenk. "It is important that those trading in such cryptocurrencies know that they will not remain anonymous in the long run and that they are also aware of the tax consequences of their investments."
