Zero tax option for software development with access to EMI

As I wrote in another thread I have a SVG LLC and a Virtual Work Visa in the UAE ( the company needs to exist by at least a year I think ). This means 1000$ for the LLC and 1000$ for the Visa + a health insurance which is something you need anyway. The LLC is a passthrough entity and UAE has no...

Best country / setup to minimize tax? (software biz, ~400k, eu)

I think that Dubai is the best option, unless you hate living there. It's expensive but it is a fantastic place in my opinion, especially for living. It's much better than switzerland and even safer.

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

Played for a UAE team and had all he needed to demonstrate that he was tax resident in the UAE. Wife was in Italy and Tax Agency didn't care about anything else. Got 2 years of prison at first grade of justice. He will never go to prison, it's a scare tactic, I bet they will settle at this...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

controls are happening, real sanctions, we only know the big cases like Vucinic. As usual it depends on how much money you make and how likely ythe tax authority is to discover that you are "rich", which if you are not an idiot is "not likely". I am not losing my sleep on this, as I said, but I...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

Totally agree with what you have written, which is more or less what I meant. I obviously come from one of those countries and that's why I didn't register in the UAE ;) The thing is that most expats from my country I know that live in the UAE ignore these things and there are lots of people who...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

All the tax advisors I spoke to, told me that being a perpetual traveller does not legally work in theory, for most EU countries, as you have to be tax resident somewhere. It's doable, I have done it for a long time, but the problem is always when ( and if ) you re enter your home country and...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

It still says that if you are not tax resident anywhere, you are tax resident in your home state. I don't lose my sleep on it, but I still think that if you come back to your home country and bring back 2 million dollars and no tax residency certificate, you are an idiot and they could file a...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

I am resident in Spain for my home country, but in truth all the money is in the UAE. I have nothing in Spain, no house, no bank account. I spend 4 months and a half a year in Ibiza but I have no rental agreement, everything is in black. I have permanent residence in spain since 2008 since I...

    UAE unveils tax residency criteria

Thanks for the clarification, especially on the money laundering/tax part, but one thing is if you lived in the UAE for 20 years, in my opinion, another thing is if you spent two weeks each year in the UAE and then spent time elsewhere, travelling and never triggering any residency.vIn one case...
