Dear @linucs, Thank you for your reply. Indeed Wamo could have warned us since the Payrnet mess started in February 2023. I've joined the Google group to brainstorm and organize ourselves. Best regards

Payrnet, has just had its Electronic Money licence revoked

Thank you @EliasIT for your supportive words. As a rule of thumb when dealing with EMIs we never keep high balances, although is not pocket money either, it’s around 50k.

Thank you post and all the alternative suggestions, @JohnnyDoe. hap¤#" We'll give Bunq and Aion a try for business accounts. Nuri was indeed the alternative and is in use by our employees. Blackcard looks pretty nice. Crypto indeed could be the answer. Unfortunately, it is pretty challenging...

Wise closed an account with 100.000 uds in it after approving my request

Hi, My own experience with the "not so" Wise EMI, Belgian bank or whatever they call themselves in modern days. For four years, everything worked fine without any incidents. We run a 100% legit business (IT Consulting and Software Development), with dozens of actual employees (all in Europe)...

thinking to open wise business account

Hi @extremedox101, Just be aware that Wise can block your account at any time, for no reason, for an indeterminate time. It happened to me and several members of this Forum. Additionally, the Business limit is 30k (Euros) before they started charging you 0.9%. (What fee am I charged to hold...

    Bank Account for Cyprus Limited

Indeed, I have an IT background, live in Cyprus, locally rent, pay utility bills, yellow slip, etc. The company has local employees and all the correct legal aspects. Due to the recent crazy account suspensions/random checks and payments delays on EMIs (Proper invoices, source of funds proof...

    Bank Account for Cyprus Limited

Hi, IT Consulting Services and Software Development. All legit, with local employees and fully managed from Cyprus. I'm asking because Cyprus banking is terrible and costly as you can get for a country in Europe. Specifically, the SEPA inward fees combined with a small starting company...
