[HELP] I'm EU based. Need some advice. Personal account

a) Montenegro banks (no CRS, at this moment 5 banks available, 1 option remotely).
b) You can also open account in some FinTech company, there are plenty of them and some of them are really efficient and well regulated but do not participate in automatic exchange.

Excellent information. May I ask which Montenegro bank can open remotely and which FinTech companies don't participate in automatic exchange? Thank you.

Is it Zapad Banka? I'm looking for a bank account in Montenegro with remote opening, if possible...

In ME you have 15 Banks to choose... a few are wonderful I think auric & friends could be very happy with some Banks...

Remote opening only a small number allow actually, as it got many times abused.
Best way is fly in, you can open 5 accounts in a half day take a good meal and fly back.
If someone can not fly in, there are let's say two reputable (reputable on ME standards) trustee who can help google for it.

Thank you for all the excellent information. According to my best knowledge, it is not possible to withdraw money from Paypal to Montenegro bank account. Now the question is if it is possible to withdraw from AdvCash, Worldcore, Transferwise or any other EMIs. Also: if I have a Paypal account that allows withdrawal to VISA card (eg Malta Paypal), would it be possible to withdraw to Montenegro VISA card or it would cause problems?

@navigator
As I know it's still not possible, but why not open non-resident Account with a Serbian bank in this case there is possible? Take a credit card and withdraw to it.
Regarding EMI I don't have any personal experience.

I heard Serbian banks don’t really like foreign transactions (even incoming funds from abroad) and ask lots of questions about the source. Not sure if it’s really true. I’d use it for Paypal withdraws. I assume Serbia has the same benefits as Montenegro, right? Are there any major disadvantages?

Avoid Serbia, nothing there for your type of banking, especially for non-dom accounts, MNE is at least more EU oriented and welcoming.

In fairness, not much Banking left in Balkans, might sounds like a region that is not in EU so lets go there all private and easier, its not at all that way, due to not so good economy, Gov keeps everything under control to try and milk every cent of the taxes, so pressure on Banks to report, block, refuse any not so clear/gray transaction is very big. Need to take the political/economic issues into calculation a little before one does let the cash go to iffy Banks/Countries. Thats why a proper Corp Structure and a well know Bank will cost some money, but you can rest assured it has been done properly with proper Banks/introducers etc.

Tamarind do you have self experience that cover last 5+ years? Or you talk about early 2000 facts?
I have a few setups there and never got into any troubles, questions, issues or whatever. One thing is important too, the source of the money should not be from any offshore destination (bvi, seycheless, panama and simliliar).
In case you have better self proven solutions without aei let us know.

Aside of this navigator has mention he got monthly around 4K eur and this is a well fit with a ME or RS (for Paypal) Bank.

The only disadvantages I could say, are the ebanking solutions that are very poor, but this is for all Balkan banks.

In my posting you see that I actually love the Balkan banks, ok on 1st place Switzerland and Liechtenstein but after they come for me. This is personal experience over last years, where I got all the time some issues with the classic Offshore Banks and I'm in the process to close all accounts with them.

You want to close all your Balkan banks accounts or what accounts are you going to close? I was wondering why?

I interpreted it as he is closing his offshore bank accounts while the Balkan banks are working well for him.
