Buying Bitcoin with Skrill

It's really bad with Skrill/Neteller. Sepa transfer is not sent in your name so this deposit will be refused by many (probably all serious) exchanges. Skrill card is not 3d secure enabled and again this is a showstopper. Direct deposit from Skrill is rarely available and if supported then pretty expensive (Bitpanda with 3% is the cheapest I know about which sucks).

i'm thinking about this for a while , skrill only work with few exchanges , but they have gone fully crypto this year which is promising ,when they launch standard crypto exchange with bitcoin wallet+private addresses and external wallet withdraw . we will not need other exchanges that work with skrill ... would save fees aswell.

do you know virwox ? they dont even require verification if amount lower than 5k a month .but fees are arbitrary up to 22% .or normally 15% when you buy monthly with skrill .

I spoke with my account manager and some guy responsible for crypto products and it won't be that fast most probably

what they provide now is simply some kind of an interest/asset representing bought crypto you are able later sell - both with 1.5% commission from each transaction which makes it unusable for trading
you can't transfer to your wallet and actually hold the crypto asset or move it to another exchange
with a little trust in Skrill it's usable for longer term holding
however they don't provide the product for short positions which is an obvious mistake super easy to implement
in general they don't understand much what the customers demand and would use - they simply declare they are no exchange :) while admitting they have big success with the product (which I believe and the more surprising is they are not aggressive enough in making it serious)
