Blogs Only Search Engines?

How many of you are familiar with blogs only search engines like Feedster, Technorati and Pubsub besides Google and Yahoo. Do they have more advantages then Google for your blog?

Of course blog only search engines like pubsub,technorati and feedster are better for blogs with some specific contents.But these search engines can't generate the same amount of quality traffic as search engine giants like Google and yahoo.So there is no such significant advantages if you list you blogs on those blog specific search engines.But trying them to ascertain the quality of traffic, has no harm.

Quite happy to know that there are some websites for blog only submission.I would definitely give these sites a try. But I am not sure whether they will be better than the trusted search engines like yahoo or Google.Thanks for such useful posting.

Technorati is one of the most reputed blog only search engines to enhance your traffic rank and moneterise your blog in specific searches. I think such type of blog only search engines are in a beta stage of their development and yet to prove their utility in the crowd of search engines like Google and Yahoo.

Each entry in the blog is taken as a seperate web page. Frequent updates help in improving your search engine ranking with such blog only search engines.

I have to agree, although they are good for blogs, good quality traffic depends on the marketing done. I would always, no matter what type of marketing I am doing or type of website page or site I am working with, want links from all major search engines. You are simply going to miss out on a lot of good traffic if you do use as many avenues as you can.

I have read tons of stuff on how to monetise your blog and I think its important to gain a critical mass of readers through RSS feed subscribers and site visitors and then only you should begin to monetise your blog.
