For my advertising I need a credit card and a bank account in Cyprus. Can you let me know the credit line, monthly fees, minimum balance and other important stuff to know in order to keep the account going?
Actually, Bank of Piraeus is changing the cards now. They will provide Platimum visa debit cards.
If the limit is up to Eur1.200 per day, non cash collateral is required.
If the limit is above Eur 1.200 and up to Eur10.000 per day, then a cash collateral of Eur1.000 is required. In this case, you will be able to withdraw up to Eur10.000 per day from ATM’s and /or online transactions. Withdrawal from an ATM is always subject to any restrictions from the Bank from which funds will be withdrawn.
So this is all new, while before it was a simple Visa Electron Card then it is now a real credit card that you can get connected to your Cyprus bank account. That makes it more attractive to anyone looking for a credit card to pay for Internet services and products while they will be able to open a real bank account with IBAN and SWIFT code at the same time.
