I would like to hire/freelance someone who is currently moving from Germany to Portugal.

The employee will be in Portugal all year round and will also be renting something there for himself and his family.

The aim is to keep taxes and social security contributions as low as possible. The salary will amount to at least €30,000 per year.

Possible vehicles are a Cyprus company, Seychelles Ltd. & US LLC generally available.

1. The employee would work in a position in sales, customer service, marketing. How can he qualify for one of the selected professional fields in Portugal to receive foreign income tax-free?

2. If I understood correctly with the social security contributions in Portugal, the cheapest option would be if the employee does not receive direct income but dividends or license fees from Cyprus 34.75% of the minimum wage of 7,070 € annually make about 2300 € social contributions

3. To briefly summarize the options:
a) Qualify for one of the selected professional fields in Portugal and receive tax-exempt foreign income (from Cyprus for example), but then which social security contributions apply here?

b) Receive tax-free dividends from Cyprus. This is 34.75% of the minimum wage of €7,070 per year and thus €2,300 in social security contributions
