Here a small view of what is currently being build in western countries and what you need to compete against should you buy farmland to sell your products to western countries

There are more documents showing what you are going to compete with but its not my work to provide everything on a table for someone who is looking to buy farmland.

Just a small hint.1 kg of food produced directly in the city takes 1 liter of water where on farmland it takes up to 250 liter (why you think they are centralizing water?)
Exotic/nonexotic foods needs no more transportation since EVERYTHING can be quickly grown directly in the city
Food in cities can be produced 24 more often per year than on farmland.
Cost of production is lower than on farmland if you take out initial investment

of course there are way more documents and productions now since the movie is from 2020 and decentralized food directly in cities is being pushed hard.
You can already see first restaurants/bars producing part of their food themself directly in front of the customer.


So in what do i trust more is going to happen ?

I haven't heard about Agenda 2050 to be honest but Agenda 21/2030 has been published for years on UN's official website.
