How much attanetion do you get from the social bookmark networks?

Now I have been submitting my site for a year to the different social bookmarking networks like facebook, myspace, mixx and so on, sometimes they get listed very well in the search results from google while other times they don't show up at all.


What is your expirience with this, do you make any sales or get traffic to your site by submitting your site to social network websites?

SBM is a very good way to get your website indexed fast, but you will need a lot more to get a good ranking in google and the other major search engines.


Try something like article submission and forum posting, don't spam the forums but make useful posts which catch the attention from the community where you post.
