Any ideas if I can setup a company with the remote work visa?
The DTCM's remote work visa:
Under the virtual working programme, you may relocate to Dubai (from outside the UAE) and continue working for the organization you are already working for, remotely.

Who is the virtual working programme for?

The virtual working programme is for people who live and work outside the UAE, start-ups and entrepreneurs who meet the eligibility criteria. If your application to live in Dubai is approved by the UAE’s authorities, you can also bring your family along.

Duration of the virtual working programme

The programme is valid for one year, renewable upon re-application.
How to apply for the virtual working programme?

To apply for the programme, you need to have a passport with a validity of minimum six months and a valid health insurance covering your residency in the UAE.

If you are an employee, you need to:

  • provide proof of employment with a contract valid for one year from your current employer
  • earn a salary of minimum USD 5,000 per month
  • provide the salary slip for the last month and bank statements for the preceding three months.

If you are a company owner, you need to:

  • provide proof of ownership of company for one year or more
  • have an average monthly income of USD 5,000 per month
  • provide bank statements of the company’s account for the preceding three months.

  • Benefits

Through the virtual working programme, you can obtain all services including telecommunications, utilities, medical and schooling. You can take advantage of Dubai's robust and seamless digital infrastructure, global networking opportunities and zero income tax for individuals. Read more about the benefits of working remotely in Dubai. (Full information is located on the official UAE website. In respecting the sites rules and policy i can post links here)

Best you email them and ask them about a tenancy agreement.

If you wish to setup a company then @Fred is your man ! You'll receive a 3 year residency visa + Business and personal bank accounts.

Hi @Fred

I shall be in contact today. Kindly check your PM.

Cheers.

Dubai Company Formation | Dubai Residence Visa | Business Bank Accounts | NON-CRS

With our experience as expats in Dubai can we help with zero tax NON-CRS Dubai Company formations and workarounds for cashing out Bitcoin profits in Dubai as well as setting up Broker Accounts under Dubai company name for investment purpose.

Dubai at a glance
Working with the most reputable business authorities in Dubai we can setup a Dubai Company structure that grants the shareholders of the company an investor residence visa in the UAE.
The Dubai Company structure business bank accounts as well as the personal bank accounts for each shareholder will be opened with local banks using the investor residence visa.
By using the investor residence visa to open the local UAE bank accounts the banks consider each residence visa holder as a resident within the UAE - this means NO-CRS reporting.
To keep the investor residence visa active there is only every 180 days a physical presence of minimum 24 hours within the UAE for each investor residence visa holder required.

All-inclusive package
- Preparation Business Plan
- Selection of the appropriate license
- Dubai Company Formation
- Investor Residence Visa
- Business bank account in the UAE
- Personal bank account in the UAE

Why Dubai?
As non-resident banking is coming to an end and classic offshore banks loosing there correspondence banks - Dubai as a Offshore jurisdiction with 0% tax still provides an affordable all-in-one solution with company, residence and banking within the same country.

Stop burning and losing money on old fashioned offshore shell companies with unreliable non-resident banking options and EMI's that rip you off.

Long lasting reputable all-in-one solution in Dubai:

Hi all! Just wanted to update that Fred and his team did a great job in completing my setup. I did everything expedited which I paid extra for and got it done in 28 days. Got my online Emirates ID on the 8th day and then the rest of the time was basically waiting for the business bank account. The business bank account people are not the easiest to deal with as others have mentioned, they delay things for no reason but eventually all went through.

The physical printing of the Emirates id is delayed so Fred's personal banking contact is quite helpful is easing the process. Took 1 day to get the personal bank account.

Tip: If you have android dark mode on you will not see the Emirates id correctly through the online app! Took me a couple of days to figure that out
Awesome! How smooth was the medical fitness check or did Dubai not require that? Is that only other Freezones

What documents are required for the company setup and the emirates residency application if I was to a start the process before arriving in dubai?

Once open you just have to keep the Visa valid with being in the UAE every 6 months for 24 hours.

But what if you can't make it back in 6 month, because covid 2021 or smalpox or whatever the next reason for the next lockdowns and flight restrictions will be.

From what I'm hearing, Dubai have been lenient in such circumstances, if another lockdown occurs, Im sure they wont enforce the 6 month limit.

I'm currently Dubai doing the setup with DLS. Everything has been smooth so far with the company setup and residency visa. These are all quite straightforward anyway, but it still helps to have Arabic speaking PRO to speed things through.

So far its taken me a week for the residency. The company formation was done remotely before I came to Dubai. I'm waiting to start the next steps for the bank accounts, which is where we'll hopefully see the real benefit of DLS. I'll keep the forum updated as things progress.

hey, so if I understand it correctly the process is as follows: company formation > visa > emirates id > personal bank account > corporate bank account?

My only problem with this is will I be able to withdraw some crypto to the personal bank account before the corporate bank account is created, as I understood it can take some time for it to be created. So, as I am planning to stay there anyway, I would need to cash out some crypto for the daily expenses like 1 month airbnb etc.

So, is it possible to cash out some smaller amounts like $5000 a month to personal bank account while waiting for a corporate bank account?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can cashout a fair amount at one the crypto shops they have there. You'll still need a little cash for the first couple of days. I'm sure fred can direct you to one.

In theory yes - however in pactice with banks you will run into issues due to:

"Under the virtual working programme, you may relocate to Dubai (from outside the UAE) and continue working for the organization you are already working for, remotely."

Per definition your income is generated from outside the UAE - the compliance of the bank will be much more extensive on foreign sourced income compared to having the residence visa with an employee contract through your Dubai Company - considering we are running an EXPO Promotion actually with a Free Visa that is valid for 3 years instead of the 1 year Remote Working Visa - it's a no-brainer to get the Residence Visa through the Dubai Company.

The DTCM's remote work visa:

Yes - as @Stec72 mentioned you have plenty of options if you are physically based in Dubai - you get straightforward cash on hand to pay for your living expenses.

But what if you can't make it back in 6 month, because covid 2021 or smalpox or whatever the next reason for the next lockdowns and flight restrictions will be.
You can always get exceptions for valid reasosn - every 6 month is the rule and I don't comment against the law given hwoever from practical experience I know that esspecially the immigration at the airport always has an open ear for your issues - they are goodminded people and not against you - however just ignoring the rule for no reason and making your own rules will lead to issues like everywhere in the world.

DLS GROUP FZCO is the company name - DLS Dubai is the Trading Name.

Examples:
FTX is run by company FTX Digital Markets Ltd.
Kraken is run by Payward Inc.
Nexo is run by Nexo Capital Inc.
etc ......

Don't get me wrong but this shows to everyone how difficult it is sometimes to work with Crypto guys because in fact there is no logical understanding of basic entrepreneur stuff and this will lead - not because of you but because of a too big lack of basic understanding of things - to problems.

Anyway send you later answer to your PM - everyone get's a chance and is welcome in Dubai.

I think the question was relevant on my part as I saw a logo of your company on another page when I did simple google search and the page is only in german so it looked like two different entities, since there was no link on one page to another confirming that these are interconnected. I would delete my post to not create the unnecessary confusion but it seems like there is no option to do that anymore. If there is an admin here, feel free to remove my previous post as it might be confusing to someone but I still think it was worth to clarify that.
