I have seen a lot of these bitcoin mining websites where you can buy electricity or whatever it is for X number of thousand dollars and then you are in a pool. It all looks fantastically easy and secure, but which one of these websites can you trust?

Good morning @clemens
May you explain better what are you looking for?
Bitcoin mining pools that offers cloud mining computing are a just milking you. Such business was profitable back in 2010. Nowadays hashrate is too high for mining to be profitable through your computer.

Another story if found new mining companies in cheap electricity's countries and they offer shares in exchange of funding. This could be profitable.

Keep in mind that the world Bitcoin mining equilibrium is already settled. Antpool, F2pool, Poolin, Btc.com and ViabTC control more than 59% of the BTC network hashrate.
Therefore, is very unprobable that a new and small farm will ever grow to a notable position.

Granwasa.

You can buy hashpower safely at NiceHash.com. It's a secure marketplace that intermediates sales, they don't mine anything, just take a cut from what you buy. Then you connect to your preferred pool and mine whatever you want.

it is exactly what I'm looking for... are there others?
Most of them are scams, I think using NiceHash is safe since it was the same service that used the guy who made the 51% attack in ETC some weeks ago (which proved they really give you what they offer). I have read about Minergate and Genesis Mining but I can't confirm anything about them

Hard to earn decent cash after the Halving....

but then its more coins to mine then BTC. . . .
