-I thought Revolut didn't open business accounts for US LLCs. (Wise does though) Have you already opened a Revolut Business account for your US LLC? Curious to hear if this is now possible.

-So Qatar has 10% corp tax, but this doesnt apply to foreign company with PE in Qatar? I.e. unlike the UAE?

-You can have US clients, still no US tax, and makes it easier to have business bank accounts in the US.

I don’t know for Revolut Business, I know that Wise is working but this EMI sometime is weird ..
I think there is EMI who can accept easily, probably US Bank. Yes Qatar has 10% corp tax but only for Qatari Company, Free zone company and Offshore company are exempt (Better than UAE ..)
In Qatar you ca have resident visa if you invest $200k in real estate and golden visa for $1M
Golden visa has a lot advantages like life time visa, free education for kids and free healthcare for all your family.

Imo Qatar is becoming a lot more attractive than UAE, we just have to wait for more development. Like Stripe and more solutions for bank account.

Thank you very much! Great information.

How long (months, years?) have you been there so far?
Do you like it?
Is it safe at night?
How would you describe the quality of life? Comparable to which other country?
I’m in Dubai actually but I’m thinking to move to Qatar for 0% tax. I like Arab country because I’m Muslim so for me it’s very good.
People told me Dubai is more fast than Doha, Doha is more chill, like Abu Dhabi
If you went to Abu Dhabi apparently it’s same than Doha but with the « dubai style » if I move to Doha and make this setup I will tell you, for the moment I’m waiting for the small relief business exemption tax for 3 years in Dubai, after 3 years I will move probably.

It would be nice to compare Dubai, Qatar, and Riyadh.
I am also a DXB resident and with working visa now in my 30th year, however I do project work and this entails living and working in other countries, from Kazakhstan to Morocco and from Pakistan to Seychelles .................. but I have also lived and worked in Riyadh and Doha
The latter two are extremely safe, but Dubai has problems with cheats and criminals that may use violence/force. It is also prone to all these false calls where people claim to be from a Bank or the Police or ................... - Its easy to check them out - use bad language to them and close the line. Invariouably that will not call back as they know their ruse has been sussed. however, if they do call back upset at your language, then be more serious about the call.
Doha has changed or should I say HAD changed beyond all recognition from a visit I made more than 27 years ago, where alcohol in hotels was just starting in secret bars for westerners and only the Receptionist would inform 'chosen selected' guests. Now it's a hotbed of bars/pubs with unfortunately it has to be said, hoards of drunken QR cabin crew, you know skinny asian types, South Koreans and the like, who just cannot take their alcohol and fall down everywhere rather embarrassingly. There are also better class establishments in the 5* hotels but are very pricy.
So, and contrary to someone here who has compared Doha with Abu Dhabi, as someone who first moved to AD in 1994, it used to be a fun place, but now it's rather staid and boring. Doha on the other hand is pretty wild (Like AD 25 years ago) in some areas, however more costly.

Riyadh unfortunately, whilst being safe and secure (apart from the poorer elements of the Saudi population in the cheaper areas who steal school bus batteries or electric cables etc) however its extremely boring - it's a family, or should I correct that and say a muslim family orientated city and there are zero activities for singletons, unless you might enjoy going for a coffee in Al Tahlia St. The hotels have minimal outlets, as there is just not the same mentality like in Dubai or indeed Abu Dhabi or Doha to go out as couples for nice dinners. During lockdown, I was living in the 5* Hilton Riyadh Resort out on the Northern Road. With over 800 rooms it has just one restaurant and a coffee shop. It is absolutely not a 5* Hotel, but to please the hosts it's given that rating for its grandiose pretentions. Absolutely nothing to do.
Also, it must be said to be honest, the weather conditions are not particularly good in Riyadh, they often give in the daily weather bulletins, the health risk of the air. It's a very dusty, choking particle atmosphere, at times.

So these are my points of view or verdicts on life in Doha and Riyadh. I think everyone knows all about Dubai, as it's all been well commented.
Accomodation, schooling, hospitals etc is more or less the same although the first item had got extremely expensive in Doha in the lead up to FIFA World Cup, but it has cooled down since with the huge exodus of expats, well heeled types as well as the poorer south asians ones.

So I guess Dubai remains the best location in the middle East?

Of course it is and the leaders (of Dubai) wish you to come and live there and spend money in their economy.
Becaiuse if you buy real estate, there's 4% tax on the property. If you rent there's 5% tax on the rent total, on most purchases there is 5% VAT, and now all businesses must pay 9% corporation tax which after employing 'hoards of accountants' to do all the required paperwork it therefore will become 10%. Then whatever product or supplies that company is into, they will want profit and overheads and establishment costs at 30% on top of that ..... plus ........... at the end, the consumer will pay a further 5% VAT on the total. ................................
If you stay in a hotel, there is Tourism Tax, Municipality Tax and VAT on top, however you can stay in top 5* hostelries for USD150-200/night and you would be pushed to finds decent hotels with rates that low in London, Paris, Rome or New York for example, so everything is relative .........
Moreover, all these numbers I quoted above are much, much smaller than most other countries, the sun shines every day, and as I said there is no woke or trans nonsense here, so one gets on with one's life in peace.
Government offices are here to help and assist you, not block/obstruct/delay and generally mess you about. I just in the last month transferred a car registration from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the Dubai RTA (Road Transport Authority) could not have been more helpful (all are locals), and then in the Police Traffic dept in AD (equivalent of RTA - also locals) I also got the paperwork and the new plates done in less than 20 minutes.

It will work until Stripe and/or EMI will want to see proof of US presence or ban you for whatever reason.
Is that really a problem you have to address? I believe people around know how to go about it, one way or the other.

OP - congrats to have found a solution, thanks for sharing your opinion.

They do, but it requires US presence and the account holder must have an SSN.
Revolut Business always requires local presence in a country where they offer their services.
So even if you have an EU company, if you don't have an office with rental agreement etc. in a country that Revolut serves, they won't open an account.

How does PE in Qatar = 0% tax? I thought Qatar has a 10% corporate income tax?

Just like in the UAE a US LLC owner would pay 9%, wouldn't you pay 10% in Qatar?

Seems they have a territorial system.

Its not an uncommon thing either eg. Panama has same.
