My father passed away and I went at it alone as that money was needed by my mom. Scholarship & hard labor for me.
My mom recently passed away and the money went to buying books & supplies for several libraries in her country and embossed so they can't be resold.
If I can do it, others can too. If they can't, they don't deserve to "hang around"

The opportunities you had they will high probably never receive thanks to the older people whos freedom is getting taken away or limited including your childrens.
Money can get them some restrictions lifted which you had as granted

The diffrence is you lived in a free market where your children will high probably live in a central business planned econemy where there will be no more middle class.At least not in the communist western countries.

Me walking +1000kms happened a few months ago (2023). This is recent! Look at the app! I've asked my kids and offspring of college buddies and friends, GFs, relatives, friends, and a myriad of other needy "acquaintances" to embark on such a journey with me for the last +30 years and they all tell me to go fvck myself!
In 2015, at the age of 23, one of my ex-children (I cut off all entitled losers - Blood makes me related to certain people. Loyalty & behavior make them my family) with an Ivy League education (+$900K flushed down the drain) refused to work on Wall Street because "I want to have a life, Dad. I don't want to be a slave like you"
.So this child took a low-paying job (at some multinational - imagine spending $150K/year on an Ivy League education and graduating summa cum laude in economics and also with an MBA to get a job paying <60K/year
) and notwithstanding my offers to come and hit the expositions and trade shows around Europe and Asia with me and earn 7-digits/year, this child refused! This child's brilliant idea was for ME to immigrate to the USA, and work like a slave at a top position at a multinational (7 days a week) so this child could "enjoy life". When I asked this child, why should I sacrifice instead of you, this child's answer was epic: "Dad, because you like to work like a slave! You enjoy it! The rest of us don't. "Yeah... maybe you just have the top 0.01% of kids who are great and would benefit from your generosity, but I don't have them, and neither do I know anyone else in the West who does.

. My kids think I just indebted myself so they didn't have to take out student loans... goes to show you... I would've NEVER done that to my parents! I wouldn't even accept such offers from them.

looks like your kids got infected by the very addictive virus of socialism and wokeism. That can very well happen if they hang around too much at us schools/ivy league etc.

Yep! You are correct. Articles are being written about this everywhere: Millennials are over the American dream: Most would take a 20% pay cut to slow down
id get it for the normal corporate route which means a lot of work for meager pay while watching the tiktok trading gurus and onlyfans h's making gazillions.
But I get it less if you have a chance to get a corporate gig with a well above average pay. Or if you get a mentor at entrepreneurship. imo the only explanation is the mind virus of socialism/wokism running full steam.

My side of the family is a bit lazy and tends to lean towards Southern European in (general) behavior and is not very work-oriented. Also, 40 years ago, most of them were older than me and they all hated to work.
The ex-wife is older than me but HATES money (she is a college professor) unless she can get a judge to pry it from my hands
, but they think I am broke, so we'll leave it like that The ex-wife's family also has a disdain for work. They thought I was a workaholic 40 years ago

Today's parents are easy to blame their children for their point of view but deny their failure to protect their childrens from indoctrination and propaganda which is their duty.
Am asking because today most parents run mainly after the money not investing enough time into their kids and letting the school and social media take care of them with later being upset that the childrens thinking is totaly diffrent than yours.
For me my kids are everything ,my legacy and proud.That's how i was teached and thats how i gave it forward.
Additional i would like to leave them something what i build (not money) as i have the same thinking like OLD german
family entrepreneurs where a word or your name means more than a contract and to belive in the good of people and work for it.
That is what makes me really personly happy.And not running the whole life after non ending digits in a banking account.
Its not about top or not.They are simply diffrent than the masses because they have been educated by us and our values and not the school system or social media.
Of course it took a lot of time where i could have made way more money but this was more important for me.

None of my family members on the European side care about work or money. They are all communists at heart...even those who live in the USA and call themselves Republicans. They are all looking for someone else's money to "save" them. It's a horrible trait.
Putting the work to study and make something of themselves is NOT their thing.
PS. Nobody taught me anything. I went out and learned on my own. I sought the company people who were doing it successfully and emulated them. Making sure I NEVER asked them for anything or accepted something I did not legitimately earn.

They flee from a communist country and started from nothing.My mother always told me she had only a pot and cuterly when arriving.
My mother took jobs cleaning toilets in restaurants in the beginning to buy me the best possible baby equipment as she always said no honest work is a shame even she came from a nobles family which communists took everything away and has studied.Same with my father.He was a director in the communist country and started as construction worker and later when he learned to communicate he ended in an office before opening his business.
They worked their a*s off and i saw it with my own eyes so i know what hard work means to get wealthy.
I of course had financially a better start but had never problems with the lower class since i was raised in a worker district and always loved econemy even as a 7 year old child i always were simulating opening businesses.
Your business is really very interresting since i guess i planned something similar back in the beginning of 2000's were china was an eldorado but stayed in europe because of my family and friends which i regret since i had at that time no obligations and the opportunities were big to build something big.
Still i see the same opportunity which was in china araising now in india and africa.

Totally agree! But I just don't know how to "milk" this opportunity though. I'm flat-out going to confess that I am extremely ignorant about Africa & India, despite reading quite a lot about them, but I can't even discern if what I read is true, false, or media manipulated

BTW thats also why i use options for a specific timeframe.Based on the ring cycle chart you can measure the timeframe it should hit a specific price.This way i'm not concerned if price makes big moves to rekk all shorts with leverage before the big drop happens
