I believe that the USA really wants to become communist. I don't know if it's true or not, but I've seen that they want to raise the capital gain tax to 44% and that's not all, they want to tax unrealized capital gains, which I find to be a real economic lightning bolt in free property.

Imagine how many homes will be put up for sale because they now cost $400,000 and some elderly people bought them for $20,000 in the past. It would mean that everyone who owns a home would have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to the American government. Meanwhile, that "capital gain" grows because it rises with inflation. It's like having $1 million invested in the stock market and being taxed every time the government increases inflation. In the end, you will be left with nothing.

I remember when Donald Trump used to say that the USA will never be socialist. So? It seems that some really want communism in the USA?

1. You had 10$ in 10 eggs worth $1 each.

2. 10x Inflation comes, and now 1 egg is $10.

3. You have $100 but -44% with the tax... you now have 6.6 eggs and $66.

4.Then another inflation of 10x.

5. You now have $660, -44% = $369, that's 3.7 eggs.

of course you can keep the 10 eggs if you work as a slave and pay 44% of whatever inflation will come

There are 5 million people in Denmark who happily accept paying up to 60% in taxes. The USA could just implement the same model; the ultra-rich will move, and the remaining are the 'slaves' who can't move and just settle for the crumbs left over. It's modern slavery, and we're likely to see it in many other countries as well.

People just need to get over the initial shock, and then they'll gladly swallow it.

Yes. Undoubtably so - same in Europe and the UK - haven’t you seen the politics and its objectives? Whilst also the support by the electorate

Also makes sense considering the debts and demographics.
