Wise blocked a transfer close my personal account, had the word "Russia" in the reference field

I would have imagine that a big company like Wise would contact their customer in such case to get clarification.
I used to think this way. An "elderly" banker at Wegelin whispered in my ear: "Every time there is a misunderstanding or mistake it benefits us. Why would we change?"

Then I started noticing that all "mistakes" benefitted the bank/FI. It finally dawned on me :rolleyes:
