Is it possible to own a UAE FZCO and use a US LLC for payment processing?
How would this work with accounting on the UAE side?
1) Owner is UAE resident
2) FZCO and pay 9% corporation tax
3) US LLC to process payments in USD
I know people do it - but I can't figure out who to ask to...

Apparently, UAE have decided to change the rules for tax residency.
It's no longer 90 days + a company/Ejari for tax residency.
This was changed but no announcement has been made.
It's now 183 days in the country to be an official tax resident.

Have you registered for VAT in Dubai?
Apparently, if you're over 375k AED, you must register for VAT. Even if you're exempt from paying it, you still need to register.
If not, 10k AED fine.
