I would suggest to apply for VAT and Tax Residency certificate.

All Companies, whether mainland or free zone, that have a yearly profit of 375k AED and above, are subject to 9% corporate tax on all profits that exceed the mentioned threshold. There is only a few activities exempted and software sales is not one of them.

No, just obtaining a tax residency certificate if you are already a resident but cannot spend 90 days in UAE a year.

All above correct, however we can issue a tax certificate for a less amount spent in the UAE, also for previous years.

We are having many clients that set up here and wire transfers from international to local banks works without any issues.

In both cases above, I recommend UAE
