Unfortunately no, you cannot stake XMR.
It is a good alternative to BTC/ETH if you are using it as a currency and are wanting to stay private/anonymous.
Monero/XMR has an extremely well designed transaction system which hides the amount/sender/receiver from prying eyes.
I would really really like to why both LocalCryptos and LocalBitcoins closed just randomly - LocalCryptos gave no reason why and LocalBitcoins stated it was because 'lack of use' which to be honest, I think is complete bulls**t.
If anyone has any ideas on why that would be appreciated!
It depends where you are staking it; If you are staking ETH 2.0, then it is quite safe (more info here: Ethereum staking | ethereum.org) there is a current APR of around 4.7%.
There is very very little risk involved in ETH 2.0 staking and personally I think it's a good idea to put some ETH...
