Thailand new change - world wide income at Thai tax levels to be taxed

Correct me if I understand this wrong. Today: basically as long as I trade stock/crypto etc on foreign exchanges, being a tax resident only in Thailand (moved out of my country 20+years ago) I could send any profits to my bank account in my home country without paying any tax? Legally...

Does UAE share info like CSR? I know UAE and Thailand has a DTT, however I haven't read it yet and I assume with lower taxes in UAE I would have to pay the rest in Thailand. So only way would be an offshore bank in the Caribbean that doesn't mind fiat coming from a crypto exchange?

UAE crypto trading company with personal funds only. What are my options?

Sure I could stay out of Thailand for 180 days, but it's not that easy for me and I need somewhere to withdraw to FIAT to pay for things.

Thank you for excellent explanation. I have a Kraken account and also Bitstamp so it's all good if needed. I'll probably try to do P2P meetup if it's money I can't show has been there from before 2024. But then again, I wonder, back to my original questions above.. As far as I understand the...

What's the difference from let's say sending USD from Kraken -> USD account in CitiBank/UOB -> Convert to THB I assume having a foreign currency account will trigger the same issue when you convert to THB as if the transfer came from abroad?

I don't use Binance, but just think of it as a possible way for getting occasional cash into TH without questions. I guess Binance's move to set up a new crypto exchange in Thailand is still on the table despite all the fud around them

    Thailand Banking Change

Yes, there seem to be a lot of Chinese gangs going on nowadays. I read a Reuters report the other day of a Chinese mafia/scammer connected to the Thai police (shocker.. I know). Link below Crypto scam: Inside the billion-dollar ‘pig-butchering’ industry I would say 99% of the people I knew in...

    Thailand tax update 20/11/23

I don't use Bitkub anymore since they started asking for video interviews, more paperwork on source of funds etc.. But there is a large community of P2P (I call it "OTC") you can do.. just meet up and transfer crypto for cash. I used to have a Binance card where I would just transfer in money...
