Hey Singa, I just try to open Bankera and the rep told I had to be a citizen of of EEA / UK resident. Plus they only take SEPA (not sure exactly what that is yet). Anyone has a good experience with opening a EMI being a USA citizen and not have to travel there. Maybe like a video call or skype...

Stupid question: how can someone recall a wire ? I didn't know that was possible. I thought a wire transfer is confirmed or sent it can't not be retrieved? I apologize for my ignorance..

Man I feel stupid now. The only time I heard of SWIFT was when I wire to an international person/company or when they wire to me. I remember seeing SWIFT bank info etc.. I was in health related field and not banking. Thanks everyone for the help..
