Fair enough! Better safe than sorry! I will give up my Bank Account to be sure.
It's literally the only tie I have to the Country.
Btw - how would that work if I pay my taxes in another country with double-tax-treaty?
Let's say I pay my taxes in malta for two yrs and come back for whatever...
Let's say I want to have a perfectly legal new home for my day trading activity. And I follow that interpretation... I would register LTD for Crypto Trading and my Accounting would just include the 1-2x Withdrawals per Month and maybe 6-7 Deposists per year, but no crypto-2-crypto trading...
My tax lawyer told me if you pay actual tax somewhere else (double taxation treaty country especially) and cut all ties including apartment in Germany, you cannot be taxed afterwards as it’s clear you tried to build a business somewhere else
There are relatively clear definitions. If you are...
I would argue it does. Because if Crypto isnt considered a currency, it's a very different pair of shoes than forex trading and possibly wouldn't count as realized profits as you only get another crypto (non-currency) for your crypto sell..? @CyprusLaw or @CyprusLawyer101 might have a better idea?
Thank you for your reply.
If you receive Payments for Dev-Work or anything in Crypto, do you have to know the name/address of your counterparty? In germany you have to... Pretty sad. A lot of work of anon projects (creating websites for crypto projects or doing graphic design etc.) is very well...
I do not say it's good or fair mate! Not at all. As I said in my other post... I have enough of it and move away from Germany because I cannot reach my financial goals in this system... So I am NOT a fan of any of these politicians who make these regulations while being super rich themselves...

KYC and pay taxes and have a good night sleep
KYC and dont pay taxes and hide until they get you
So... Solution for what exactly?
Very interesting.
Can I ask how are you declaring your taxes for Crypto Projects? In theory you would need a CASP / License for offering tokens etc. - I would guess you don't have that? So how do you declare taxes?
I really don't understand how these regulations scare people... It would only scare you if you are KYC'd somewhere and never paid taxes right?
You are either a law abiding citizen who pays taxes and KYC's/using Centralized Exchanges....
or
You are a sketchy tax evasion dude who surely never...
What I don't understand:
If you have a crypto trading LTD in Cyprus for example and you have yearly profits of 100k €... What part of that can be paid out as 0% tax dividends and what part of it for the 12.5%?
Hi,
total Newb here. But I tried my best to use the search function :))
I was looking into Cyprus as a potential location to settle my business activities and get a tax citizenship.
Main reasons:
Cyprus has a double-taxation treaty with germany and they hand me over a tax certification which...
Hi,
