Latest status must be that Panama, BVI and a few other offshore jurisdictions are out of business for tax evading reasons. The only reason to keep your offshore company in any other offshore jurisdiction is to stay anonymous on the Internet the days are over where you could hide from governments...

All the banks I have been researching have depositor insurance as per EU regulations.

I would anytime choose Bank of Cyprus over any other smaller bank if I were able to use them or needed a bank in Cyprus.

I have seen lots and lots of Adult business incorporated in Cyprus and BVI but can't see why one decided for one over the other.
