Panama-Italy Friendship Treaty - Path to quick Permanent Residency in Panama

You can have a permanent residency easily, but to be "tax resident" from Italy side you need to fulfil other requirements. Also keep in mind, if your residency in is Panama, you may want to be able to prove your actual time spent there. Panama doesn't really care of course, but Italy will.

Need EU IBAN for US company - Wise & Nominees?

I used Wise because I need EU IBAN, I also have Mercury but it's not easy to receive payments (we do B2C with EU clients). Do you know any reputable service provider?

Need EU IBAN for US company - Wise & Nominees?

Hello everyone, I own a US LLC and living in UAE. I had a Wise Business account for this LLC but now it got closed, I think because they don't like my residency (I am the manager in the LLC). Would setting up a new US LLC with a local nominee solve the problem? Doesn't Wise ask for UBO? Thanks

Payment processor for UAE (RAKICC) company?

If you sell B2C to EU countries, AFAIK you’re required to register for a VAT number in the specific country

Payment processor for UAE (RAKICC) company?

paytabs.com seems to support UAE companies and fees are similar to Stripe, plus they can payout in EUR and USD as far as I know. I don't have first-hand experience with them, so let us know how it works for you. Doing this, the UK LLP would be the "seller", not the UAE company, right? That may...

How to avoid VAT in EU from the 1st 2024

UK company as "payment gateway" for UAE company?

Not sure I understand what you mean. Linked thread doesn't work for me as I don't have the mentor subscription anymore, if it's specifically about this situation, I can pay it of course. If it's just a list of gateways, not sure it would help.

UK company as "payment gateway" for UAE company?

Hello everyone, I am looking for support or consulting about the possibility to open a UK LTD to allow my UAE company to access Stripe, Wise and other mainstream services. Perfect setup would make all the cash-flow transit through the UK company, directly flowing in the UAE company. Then, UAE...

How to avoid VAT in EU from the 1st 2024

Why you say "don't be in the same country"? Wouldn't that trigger other things about "company substance" and "place of effective management"?

How to avoid VAT in EU from the 1st 2024

As far as I know, this is true for products, not for services. For services, VAT is due in the place where the company is incorporated.

UK LLP for a UAE resident - Good for Wise and Stripe?

Thanks, I understand. Having a UAE resident individual as owner and administrator is not going to trigger the same problems?

How to avoid VAT in EU from the 1st 2024

The article says ...must be reported when funds are transferred by a “payment service provider” from a payer who is located in an EU member state to a payee (the intended recipient of the funds) who is located in another country – either inside or outside the EU. So I guess, just using a US...

How to avoid VAT in EU from the 1st 2024

As far as I understand, what matters is not the country of the company but the country of the customer. So, even if it's a US LLC, if it's selling to EU clients, it will be reported.
