    UAE Merchant Account

What exactly is the Wio Stripe Merchant account? How is that different from normal Stripe? Can you collect USD or EUR and have the money go direct to a USD or EUR account at Wio and avoid the AED currency conversation fees?

    UAE Merchant Account

Strip can process Euros, like PayPal, the problem is the currency exchange fees.

    UAE Merchant Account

PayPal is business.... we have a very long track record with PayPal. We make legit computer software. Totally above board. Nothing shady.

    UAE Merchant Account

But Stripe fees aren't that much better than PayPals. What I need is a merchant account in the UAE that can accept Euros directly without having to convert to AED.

    UAE Merchant Account

For those of you with UAE companies working in e-commerce selling online, what are you doing for Payment processing? PayPal is killing me at 6.9 percent. There's has to be a cheaper way using a local bank as a Merchant Account and then a UAE equivalent to authorize.net. My company sells in...

For those of you who have Singapore Companies

I'm pretty much settled on Singapore for incorporation (digital nomad, no residence in SG, sell online internationally). My questions are for people who have a Singapore company and talk from personal experience. 1. Can all the paperwork (taxation, company registration, and re-registration...

Singapore Sole Proprietorship - Anyone done it?

About 30 percent of my customers are American. My understanding is that will make me tax liable in the US (ETOB and ECI). I sell digital software (downloads).

Singapore Sole Proprietorship - Anyone done it?

I thought about the USA LLC, but the rules are so complex and ever-changing, and it's impossible to make sense of anything. Ask one question and get 10 different answers.

Singapore Sole Proprietorship - Anyone done it?

I'm still deciding where to set up my business (Asia-based digital nomad - Canadian citizen, no residential ties to Canada). Since all I need is PayPal, I figured, why go through the expense and complexity of setting up a fully incorporated or limited company when I can set up a simple sole...

UK Company (Software) selling via Paddle

What do you guys think? Online software selling. I live in Asia. Not a British citizen or resident. 1. Incorporate in UK (LLC). Very cheap and easy to get. 2. Use "Paddle" for all my software sales (Paddle automatically takes care of all the VAT, worldwide tax compliance, etc). 3...

Canadian living in Cambodia. Need jurisdiction for e-commerce company (software) recommendations.

A simple US LLC will work just fine for you. -- The Problem is getting a US-based PayPal account. Getting the LLC is easy. However, getting the ITIN, etc., that PayPal wants can be problematic.

Canadian living in Cambodia. Need jurisdiction for e-commerce company (software) recommendations.

I make the software on my laptop along with some other programmers I hire. I sell the software via my own website. There's nothing physical. It's all digital. And it's 100 percent legit software. We're not doing P**N or anything grey area. It's normal everyday software. Jurisdiction means...

Canadian living in Cambodia. Need jurisdiction for e-commerce company (software) recommendations.

Hi guys, I'm Canadian. I live in Cambodia but travel to other countries frequently. I'm digital nomad. I'm not a Canadian tax resident because I have no residential ties to Canada. I'm setting up a new business selling digital software online (all direct downloads) to a worldwide audience...
