Monzo. Personally, I have my doubles about Lithuanian EMIs. Having said that I would like to stress that legislation is changing very quickly. There is no such thing as "long time" for EMI.

It is pricing. Like anything in the UAE. Why Skype and WhatsApp are not working in the UAE? Why iPhones are sold without Facetime? There is a huge degree of protection for many UAE companies at the government level. Besides, Transferwise has to close bank accounts not just for RAK ICC companies...

Fred, I am sorry but what is it you cannot agee with? That the banks in UAE can instantly close your account? Your clients with exotic structures clearly greasing the bankers wheels and putting up large deposits and hence are successful in opening accounts. Now this may take from several weeks...

Local bank can close your account very quickly. Personally, I would still go for EMI Any other success with any EMI and the UAE business?

Now Transferwise is closing all UAE accounts. Sadly UAE put a lot of pressure on Transferwise due to pricing :((

RAK ICC is dead for some time now. ADIB closed my business account for RAK ICC company in 2019 and no other bank was willing to open the account regardless the amount I was willing to put in. Other countries banks do require all companies certificates to be notarised, which is a huge upfront...
