    Is the taxman coming?

I've been using TransferWise, Payoneer for some time. Now, my only concern is, the taxman is going to come knocking for me using the Payoneer/Transferwise card. My question is, what do these slime bags actually store in these ATMs or POS payments? It's been almost over 2 years, and no taxman...

Russian President Putin announces military operation in Ukraine

I don't know if they are losing but I know they're not winning and they sure as hell are not prepared for it. Even if they take Ukraine after some time, it'll never be Russian territory, the casualties for Russia will just keep stacking up until they go away. The reality is that Russia is in...

Closing a never used UK LTD company

I had opened a limited company about a year and a half ago, I had some plans but things didn't turn out as I thought, so it was never used, not once. Now I want to strike off the company, but it requires authentication code which I never received. This seems to have been a fault on my part, the...

Was anyone able to contact Stripe?

Please do not compare Stripe to Paypal, they are not even remotely comparable. If you're in a risky business it doesn't matter what payment processor it is, you'll get shutdown. It's probably one of the best processors out there, along with great support.

    Withdrawing money in neighbour countries

So I've been wondering what do people do with money after withdrawing it from offshore banks? I use EMIs, my monthly income is usually around 1k usd, I usually withdraw and put it back into an account in my home country. I do store some in cash, but cash can be stolen and so it's not the...

Introduction - New Member from Serbia

Nobody bothered for so long is because they didn't have the infrastructure and still don't, they only do this now because the budget is running low. The law is old 20 years, it was written in 2001, that being said foreigners will have a nice time in Serbia as long as they don't plan to actually...

Introduction - New Member from Serbia

The thing about this persecution is that 99,7% never paid any actual taxes, and so 99,7% couldn't have been possibly all evading taxes? Serbia is a half-baked country, I as a citizen know first hand, it is great for foreign nationals but awful for their own citizens. You are paying taxes with...

Introduction - New Member from Serbia

Are you not aware of the current persecution of freelancers and generally people who receive foreign income? They're going after people retroactively who received money on their EUR/USD foreign accs and charging up to 80-90% retroactively of tax.

In Serbia in the past 4 months, the Serbian Government decided to enforce a 20 year old law that has never been applied before, apparently according to the tax office 99,7% of people that were receiving money with SWIFT/PayPal withdrawals to their foreign currency accounts never actually paid...
