Indochina region personal bank account, possibly Cambodia or nearby

I'm looking to open an account in the Indochina region. Will keep small balance, probably equivalent USD 1-10k, transfers won't exceed 2-5k per month. Cambodia seems nice, many big shiny bank buildings everywhere. I met a contact offering Acleda bank opening for a reasonable fee. Originally I...

    What's your thoughts about NFT's ?

How do we know the Mona Lisa only has one copy and is unique? or any other piece of art for that matter? Regarding the painting on your wall: are you the author of the painting? Do you have copyright over the art and permission to re-sell it? If you are not authorised to re-sell it, then that...

    What's your thoughts about NFT's ?

Could we consider the Bored Ape NFTs to be spam? I've randomly browsed around on OpenSea and would say there's quite a bit of junk, crud, and rubbish on there. There's sunk costs and fees to become a seller and make/sell NFTs, so perhaps that's a financial barrier to entry which filters some spam.

How to get the US residency?

I haven't experienced EU as an undocumented resident, so I cannot compare. Maybe it is worse. For sure there is probably more layers of bureaucracy, though USA has no shortage of it either, depending on which state and for what situation. Speaking from the aspect of recently importing some...

How to get the US residency?

No, you're right, I don't think OP is Canadian. But iirc OP spent a few years in Canada, so might be possible to get Canadian papers in another couple years and then go to USA. Depends how badly they want to go there and their present situation. Kinda roundabout, but sometimes it's an option. Of...

    What's your thoughts about NFT's ?

Yes, you're right, OpenSea mostly seems to use ETH. Some sellers use wrapped ETH (WETH). There's options for a few more currencies. I really dislike ETH and the whole gas ecosystem, but the idea of smart contracts and the like has many new possibilities. Let's see if Cardano gets more traction...

    Netherlands BV

The bikes, don't you know? Just borrow one and you can get anywhere. Tbh I have s soft spot for NL myself. Wouldn't mind to spend some more time there. Just some random ideas. What about Switzerland? Some cantons have good incentives. Arguably even nicer there than in NL. I know a UA citizen...

    What's your thoughts about NFT's ?

I have an original piece of art that was released by the same artist as an NFT. An original autographed 1/50 print edition. The artist released the NFT with quantity of ten. I strategically acquired the last five NFT copies for pocket change and now the NFT is selling for $15k. Sooo, since I...

How to get the US residency?

That's a common misconception that's incorrect. If I got $10 every time somebody told me that, I'd have a lot of purple bills. Many lawyers make big bucks selling people that narrative. While TN is not dual intent, there is a process that enables TN status to a green card...

    Leaving Canada While Unvaccinated

Batumi seems like a great place, haven't made it there myself but it's on my top ten list. Good real estatae prices too. I think Albania is another great budget spot, arguably a better location too. In other news, Canada extends Wuhan virus travel mandates. Lol. What a joke country with a joke...

    Second citizenship - Mexico

Haha. Funny but true. However, at the same time, as the towers get higher, are you going to keep scaling them until they topple? That is to say, once you start having to make grey area arrangements for your tax situation, things may get complicated beyond control. YES and YES. Great women and...

    Second citizenship - Mexico

Thanks for the heads up @botero, it's good to know the latest developments in Mexico. Neither my friends nor I stayed there long enough to worry about taxes, but this makes me think twice about planning a long term stay. Nevertheless, they still have some loopholes for certain passive or trading...

How to get the US residency?

I should rephrase my last sentence for clarity. Being an "illegal" has never been as good as it is now. Let's go Brandon! I've met people that migrated to USA as infants or kids and are now adults (20-30 years old), and they are still considered illegal, cannot go back to Mexico to visit their...
