US is very easy to get bank accounts but you do need to be there / follow the regulations.

They are actually very good. Kinda slow to work with sometimes. Very high demand. They cater to a LOT of offshore providers. They do ask for documents (which is good so they don't get shut down like MisterTango) but overall pretty easy to work with. I hope they are around for many years to...

Yeah, for parking money I think offshore banks are still better than EMIs because EMIs come and go and lose their accounts so often. So if you really don't need a card, transactional volume, etc - you are not going to have nearly as many headaches dealing with these Caribbean offshore banks. GBC...

These fees are not crazy at all. UPaycard charges 10,000 EUR for a dedicated IBAN. If you want a s**t offshore bank with awful service / no dedicated IBAN than go to Belize, Georgia, etc. But if you want a real "bank like" experience w/ an offshore structure you will pay for it.

Belize Banks (the ones I've used) have AWFUL internet banking, require constant documentation to send wires in/out, and have horrible customer service (if you can even reach them in the first place). EMIs are way better than Caribbean banks IMHO.

You don't trust EMIs with your documents so you are going to open with fake docs... uhm.. okay... You still need to obtain the physical debit card, transfer funds in/out, etc. But to answer, many of the EMIs require Skype type verification now. But not all. It will be a big pain to make 100%...

Maybe in 2016, not anymore. This is the most incompetent bank I have ever worked with. And I have worked with a lot of Caribbean banks, and EU, other islands like Cook Islands, etc. They simply do not care. Days to answer emails, constantly chasing them, most unusable online banking platform...
