Non resident UK LLP - who/where Pay tax?

Partnership still requires 2 or more co-owners. Here are 2 ways you can do it: 1. Register 2 Georgian companies and put them as shareholders, but it gets complicated. 2. Register UK ltd, put the Georgian company as the owner, and get the Treaty non-resident' companies" status, more on it...

    Liechtenstein Foundation vs Offshore Trust?

That's wise, Martin mentioned that as well. Is it a good idea then to disclose all the assets of the trust...and the beneficiaries to local tax authority? Basically keeping everything transparent, but still if anyone tries to get them (knowing the structure), still wouldn't. Makes sense, thanks

    Liechtenstein Foundation vs Offshore Trust?

Why would anyone choose Liechtenstein over Offshore. Assuming obviously 2-5$M budget, which is a minimum for Liechtenstein. Isn't it easier for tax authorities to determine that you are the actual "owner" of the foundation (comparing to some Cook Islands, where it's way harder)? Thanks

Banks that set Offshore Asset Protection for you?

Are their methods good, like some Nevis / Belize, etc. setup or some sh**ty republic just because they have a branch / office there?

Banks that set Offshore Asset Protection for you?

Amending Trust in case of Foreign Judgement

Hi, just curious, if one has a revocable trust, in case of foreign judgment (lawsuit / sanctions, etc.), can he just convert it to irrevocable to protect the assets? Point of revocable I guess would be to have more flexibility until it's no longer needed. This is for trusts in Nevis, Cook...

You have $1M...BUT you need it for business expenses

Interesting, didn't know that. Would it reduce the risk of getting account suddenly closed? Just that Wise is known for it. What reputable bank in Switzerland would agree for $1M ?

You have $1M...BUT you need it for business expenses

Hi, Assuming you have $1M lets say per year of profits. But if dark days come, you need it within a month for urgent business expenses. Where would you keep it? 10 banks...or 100 emis...or 1 bank? Is there investments like bonds / etf that can be easily converted into cash without huge fees?

Foreign-sourced Income Exemption certificate from Hong Kong IRD

As in not to fall under some CFC rules? Not to exploit the 0% regime basically? Hmm, would Estonia work as long as profit is not distributed from HK? That would mean technically that country of residence doesn't tax.

Foreign-sourced Income Exemption certificate from Hong Kong IRD

bump I was told that this certificate can be obtained prior to 1st tax filing, asking more now. Would be great if HK companies can get it straight after incorporation - to know if HK is worth investing into.

    Zero-tax Everywhere with Estonian PE?

Amazing info, thanks a lot. The only thing that's confusing is that emta.ee says (I assume "non-resident" they mean obviously the foreign entity, like a US LLC or HK company, etc, hopefully not wrong here) 1. Why do they say it is a business entity? Does a foreign entity have to register a...

    Zero-tax Everywhere with Estonian PE?

Am I missing something? It seems that Estonian PE turns any company into zero-tax (until profits are distributed obviously). https://www.emta.ee/en/business-client/registration-business/non-residents-e-residents/taxation-profit-permanent i.e. UAE company is run by EE holding/resident, with PE...

EE Holding & US LLC (or any pass-through / zero-tax entity)

Didn't want to hijack this thread, and many others where EE was touched, but then skipped... https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/threads/uae-clarification-of-freezone-qualifying-income.41414/page-26#post-266273 But many people mention Estonia as a Holding, along with US LLC, where EE would be PE...
