Dubai - First Audit Request From DIEZ

As I said, I did an audit because it will be required to close the company not for any other reason.

Dubai - First Audit Request From DIEZ

If you DM me, I am happy to share the audit firm. They cleaned up my accounting and did the audit for 2k AED. I'm just finishing it up and have been fairly happy so far.

It's been about a month, but I have a very simple entity.

Dubai - First Audit Request From DIEZ

You're right I just checked and they said that setting 2024 you will need to provide financial statements to renew. I did an audit anyway for 2k AED since that will be required to close down the company (along with a liquidation report) and I'm definitely going to do that at the end of the year.

Dubai - First Audit Request From DIEZ

I've been told that I will need to produce audited accounts to renew company license starting in 2024 by IFZA. I suspect it might be universal.

How to proceed with my UK tax situation?

There is a common misconception that as long as one pays taxes somewhere, they are ok not to pay taxes elsewhere. Your desire to give your money to HMRC does not absolve you from liabilities in the other country (if there are any). If your income is taxable in the UK then by all means pay your...

Minimum "home" criteria for tax residency

I have heard of cases where the last one was sufficient. If you are talking about Germany in particular, which has this requirement it can be interpreted very liberally. Ie a good in parent's house where you stay occasionally, but remains empty otherwise. Or indeed, a room at your girlfriend's...

    Explain Trusts like I'm 5

Maybe a better analogy: Put your toys in a box and give the box to an adult and give them a list of people you want to have access to the toys. If anyone wants to take a toy they have to speak to the adult who has them. If they are not on the list, the adult will not give them the toy. While...

Undeclared assets in the UK as non-resident

UK has very clear (mostly days) based rules regarding tax residency. If you are not tax resident according to the rules you have no liability to pay tax on your income/assets, only on certain types such as UK based property as @wellington mentioned. If HMRC comes looks you just need to show...

    2 Work Contracts in EU?

There is nothing inherently illegal about having multiple full time work contracts. However, employers usually put into employment contracts exclusivity - meaning that they make it against their contract to work for another employer. Therefore, the most likely penalty if you are in breach (and...

0% plan and coming back from tax haven after 10 years

As was mentioned there is no magic 183 day rule. If the country in question is Germany you would absolutely be considered a tax resident if you spend even a week at your parent's place that you continuous access to (as demonstrated by you staying there). De-registering properly and saying away...

    2 Work Contracts in EU?

I'm a bit confused by the question. Would you be doing two different jobs under the two contracts? Would it be with two different employers? Would the second contract also come with a work/residency permit? Otherwise, how do you expect to work in France without a work permit? I assume you are a...

East European countries: Do they care about collecting Tax?

You are basically asking if PL/CZ enforce their tax laws, because what you are suggesting is straight up tax evasion. And just like any crime, you are fine until caught. What's the probability of being caught? Who can say? But, why engage in tax evasion when there are some many ways to legally...

    Avoiding Canadian Departure Tax

In that case you will need to pay CGT when you dispose (gift) your shares. Effective CGT in Canada is 25%. Your other alternative is to set up a trust and see if you can minimize taxes that way. There would still probably be some disposition on trust creation, but maybe a good accountant can...
