Hey everyone What do you feel about using wise for a Malta company? Anyone here had problems before? Thank you.

Has this founder you know any stake or role still in the company for you to say that they are not going to survive? Because honestly, ePayments doesn't look like they believe in that and are doing everything they can to get back in business.

It's easy to see that 3rd phase didn't start yet. You just need to go to FCA's website and see that there are no updates on Epayments and that the same restrictions are still being applied - meaning only low/medium risk personal clients are able to be refunded.

Which solution did you end up using instead of wise?

They are not yet allowed to run their business. FCA is the one imposing these restrictions. You can check them here: NewRegister

People are receiving their money at very slow pace. They are still only allowed to refund low risk clients - also no corporate accounts. I wonder wtf is taking all this time to FCA remove these restrictions. It has been more than 1 year and half. The way all this mess was managed is just insane.

I contacted wise support to make sure everything goes smoothly before transferring any money there. So far they seem very responsive, they asked me for the source of funds, bank statements, financial statements etc. Let's see what they say.
