Bank account that won’t freeze for origin of funds

They have been holding my money hostage with no explanation and they are unwilling to share any details yet they've got no questions for me either. I have voluntarily supplied them with documents about my crypto transactions which went into my account. They weren't interested. Their Reddit...

Bank account that won’t freeze for origin of funds

It's the same story here. Dukascopy (CH bank) works, they are fine with crypto. You can open an account online with zero maintenance fee. Zen, Bankera (LT EMIs) works as well. Bunq (NL bank) doesn't mind crypto either, you can open the account online. Be careful with Revolut though, my account...

Offshore personal non EU bank account remotely

I did in another thread. A Maltese bank just refused my application I'm guessing because I listed crypto income on my application form.

Is Finci a mess for everybody or I'm being unlucky?

Update: ffter the complaint, Finci solved it quickly, and got my money back.

Where do you open an account in the US with ITIN or in the UK?

Offshore personal non EU bank account remotely

Thank you, anything in Asia or South America maybe? Would prefer a retail bank used by the locals over an island one. Zenus seems to be good, might give it a try. No cards for my country though.

Offshore personal non EU bank account remotely

As an EU citizen and resident, where can I open a regular current account (not private banking) outside the EU, remotely? Any bank in any country is highly appreciated! Preferably without introducer but if there is no other option, that's fine, too.

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

Any experience with frozen accounts? Revolut's wording is confusing, it suggests maybe some authority requested the account to be frozen or maybe it was them, because I just added money with my other EU card a few minutes prior it was frozen. Have been using Revolut a lot, moving money to my...

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

I live in Hungary and nobody trusts the country or the banks here. The government charges a 0.3% tax on bank transfers (this comes on top of the bank's fees) and half of the banks are owned by the ruling party's family and friends. One of their banks failed already, where I had an account. I...

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

I don't live in the Eurozone and Euro accounts are expensive to operate. SwissMoney is ridiculously expensive. I've got several EMIs and this time I wanted insured bank accounts.

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

Revolut literally just froze my account, at this very moment - the first time ever. Haven't been given any information why or what's the problem. Based on what other people say, it's because of crypto income. That's why I'm looking for normal banks. Finci (EMI) is giving me a hard time as well...

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

Do you know if DKB can be managed completely online or I would have to go to branches whenever I've got an issue? For instance, can I close the account online should I want to? MeDirect Malta rejected my application, I have no clue why. I've got income from crypto as well, so that might be the...

Is Finci a mess for everybody or I'm being unlucky?

I'm a native EU citizen and resident. Opened an account with Finci a while ago but every single time I deposit money to my account from my other bank accounts, first it gets frozen, and then I have to write a message to them asking to unblock it. We are talking about a few hundred Euros. My...

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

Satchel is an EMI, not a bank.

Remote EU bank (no EMI) account

Kind of, but I'm finding their fees ridiculous. 30 CHF per month for account maintenance is a different story. You're a legend, thanks! Swissquote's bank account is the trading account and they require you to invest with it, which triggers the min. 20 CHF/ quarter account maintenance fee. They...
