So, the phone number and address is UK based and you are right that UK tax authority gets this information. I think I have now prioritized peace of mind. I would eventually like to use this money to buy a flat in Germany. So might as well bite the bullet and pay their ridiculous taxes.

Yeah, I am thinking this as well. Especially with a kid depending on me as well, it is probably not worth it for me to do this. So far I have been using the UK account and a UK address but this is hardly sustainable going forward.

I am not sure you are liable for taxes in Germany if you reside somewhere else. Do you sell as an individual or as a company? Also, where is your company registered? Is the company's management based in Germany (i.e. any of the directors German residents)?

I will. I will need to find someone who can speak in English as I am originally from Italy and do not speak very good German yet but hopefully I will find a good solution. I will update here but it might be a few weeks till I get enough advise on this.
