How to become tax resident in Thailand? (I got rejected)

Couldn't tell you why it's in that category. I first heard about it, when some with Elite Visa was only given 2 years driving license, instead of 5 years on extension. They were given that reason.

How to become tax resident in Thailand? (I got rejected)

Elite Visa is seen as a tourist via and not a long term visa, which is why. Education Visa is for education only and not permitted to work and that's why they reject a TIN. But with that said... I'm sure with the right accounting contact, that it can happen.

How to become tax resident in Thailand? (I got rejected)

It looks like this: 099-1-00xxxxxx-x Not sure if it's same for all foreigners, but I've seen a few and they all start with that. With some luck, your bank doesn't ask for documentation. It's been seen before.

    Saxo bank crypto withdrawal

Saxo Bank doesn't allow 3rd party topups. They only accept transfers from accounts in your own name. You get a personal IBAN in the main currency you selected on setup and can request more (Example EUR and USD). If they board people with crypto wealth, I don't know. But if you have all tax...

A freelancing platform that issues invoices in its name?

It depends on what you expect. If you compare the "free" plans that just takes a %, then I can't see much difference between Rimuut and Xolo. Rimuut is just a bit cheaper on the % :)

A freelancing platform that issues invoices in its name?

There is a few options: Bitwage.com Rimuut.com Xolo.io Winglio.com I have tried all above and they all work. I can recommend looking at Bitwage, which we have freelancers using now, as there is option for 0% fee and paid in crypto (but also bank transfer)

    Thai Crypto tax

One thing is how the rules are in Thailand, another on is how it's followed. Don't worry about the Thai Tax Authorities, worry more about UK :) When transferring in, keep it below 50,000 USD (equivalent) and no questions will be asked. Above is possible, but then the bank will require some...

Cashout of Crypto to ThaiBank via foreign bank

There aren't any lists. Sometimes it can even be up to the branch, what city and so on. Some have deals with agents to setup and rejects anyone else. I recommend checking based on the city you live in.

Cashout of Crypto to ThaiBank via foreign bank

You are actually correct. Money from outside Thailand is NOT tax-free. BUT, it's not like they say something to it, as long as a transfer is below 50,000 USD (equivalent). If we go into details, it's actually only PASSIVE income from the calendar year before, that is tax-free. But I would...

    Saxo bank large deposit expierences

Depending on when you made the account, they might ask for renewed KYC. They just did that start 2021, so they might include you if you haven't used the account in a long time since creating it.

    Saxo bank large deposit expierences

I personally use them and if the account is open and the money comes from your account, they don't ask questions as such. But as mentioned above, if you told them you were an unemployed student when you opened the account, then it will for sure raise a flag and you will be asked for...

    Anonymous company

I don't know about Cambodia, but for Thailand, this is not really possible. You can read some here: 100% Foreign Business Ownership in Thailand | Acclime Thailand The BOI mentioned can not be used for property investments. There could be ways around it, but when it all comes down, it wouldn't be...

    Invoice your own Company

I don't know what your home country is and what the rules are. But I would recommend the HK company creating EMI account(s) in Europe to get an IBAN, so the transfer will be SEPA (if your home country is in Europe of course). The Upwork trick won't work. They will ask questions to the service...

    Bad experience with HSBC Expat

I personally am very happy with HSBC Expat. The signup was smooth, but the key generator did take some time. And correct, they only have debit cards in USD and GBP and not EUR (which is the currency I mainly use). Besides from eBanking being outdated from what I am used to, I have no problem...
