    List of crypto-friendly bank accounts

Thanks for the list. @azb1, when you say crowdfunding site, can you give an example of what you mean please? Thanks. I wouldn't want to crowdfund someone else's business idea with any crypto profits.

How dangerous is having Nominee Director for Cypriot company?

@Sols , Thank you so much for this. There are many on this list - as per my question to Mark, are there any you would recommend? I have a similar concern to the thread opener. If I put my life savings in a brokerage account (I trade for a living) via a Cyprus company: 1. I trust the brokerage...

How dangerous is having Nominee Director for Cypriot company?

Hi Mark. Are there any providers you would recommend? I have begun talking with Chambers Law and with PKCY. They both seem professional, but they are not on the list above. They use an outsourced provider of Directors. I will need to find out who that is.

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Their definition of Securities and the two clarifying circulars include basically anything that can be traded in a brokerage account or OTC. In a court case the intention of the law is also important, not just the letter of the law. In the same way I someone gets a fine for going 55kph in a...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Oh my God. It says futures are exempt. The vast majority of commodity trades are done via futures. You are starting to be confontational.

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Baboon, hardly anyone trades actual commodities, apart from oil companies and iron ore companies for example. All the hedge funds and people like me trade commodity futures. Futures are securities. Futures are the obligation to deliver a physical commodity at a certain date (but they are usually...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Scary, but wouldn't the other country do the same to get you to pay tax there? Ie wouldnt Cyprus, or England or whatever say no, screw you Portugal, we want Rod1 to pay tax in our country not yours? It would be evocative of Stalin's Russia if 2 countries are trying to destroy you simultaneously...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Where are you seeing that commodity futures are not exempted? The note 4 from Deloitte begins: " The term “Securities” is defined as shares, bonds, debentures, founders’ shares and other securities of companies or other legal persons, incorporated in Cyprus or abroad and options thereon. Two...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Thanks @jackfrost and Baboon re #2 (I don't get your point on #1 - it is clear basically all securities trading is tax free). Jack, you make a good point re hard cutoff, but I don't think it is too hard. To fulfill the Cyprus requirements you have a rental contract or home, and have a business...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Thanks. That note 4 covers basically everything that can be traded in a brokerage account. Perfect. The health contribution applies to employees and self employed people. If just get dividends from a company you own and direct for trading there seems to be 0 tax. No corporate tax on securities...

    Recommendation Malta or Cyprus?

Hi. Regarding this " 12.5% + income tax on fair market salary. " for Cyprus - why is a fair market salary required? For residence one can be there for 60 days and be a Director, without being paid a salary, right? Second question: If I have a Cyprus company which trades stocks and futures, and...

I thought that the deposits to IB had an instruction "for further credit to [name]" and TW can't process "for further credit to" transactions?
