As you may imagine, for your third question, any country under UN sanctions would automatically rise a red flag. Also, any country that has the BVI in a black/grey list would have similar consequences.

Well, I suggest you all start using GPG / PGP, if you are not already using it. And I mean installing it on your computers, not just using the encryption service that some Email Services provide.
