This is interesting for the many people who are looking into incorporating in Europe i.e. Malta, BVI, Cyprus and UK - you may actually learn something what you should do and don't do!!

Interesting to see how they try to close the holes in the different offshore jurisdictions without luck. It seems it's more like to please the OECD and the USA rather than doing something that may actually work!
You did your homework "curtlee" seems there is a good reason to inc. your corp. there if you need a fast and reliable offshore setup in Europe. It seems the BVI are also not questioned any longer as much as they used to be.
Seems to be OK to incorporate there. Was just wondering why I read so many places that they prefer Belize and Panama over the Seychelles? It's faster, cheaper and better privacy with an SC corp than anywhere else!!
Cyprus is a low tax jurisdiction with real great offshore facilities and options. Actually one of the best places in Europe for private business matters.
Yeah indeed. Will try my luck tomorrow to see if it's possible to get an account there. If so I will open one for each of my enities at each bank, just in case.
It was used to be only 1 week now it takes months if you at all get approved. Thouse who where luckily enough to get a bank account there should do everything to keep it.
