A couple of companies I contacted claimed they can help set up a bank account in Belize. Are they bluffing me to get my business? Or is there are particular volume of transfers between the exchange and your bank account beyond which the banks start clamping down?
Is it possible to have a US based bank for a company in Belize? If you have a relationship with a local bank, particularly a credit union, I hear that it's possible to get an account for crypto activities. Whether that account can be attached to an IBC in Belize, I have no idea.
So I know that companies that trade in crypto assets are having a hard time getting a bank account in Belize. But what about an entity that wants to raise money via a token sale and convert the incoming ETH & BTC to fiat currency and transfer that to a bank in Belize? The entity itself will not...
Interesting how difficult it is for a company to have a decent bank account for crypto trading and yet there are lots of hedge funds/VCs and other investors who have incorporated actively investing in cryptos around the world.
Why would MT allow you to open a personal account to connect to your corp entity, for example, an IBC that does crypto trading? Would they not flag it as a corp account?

- Did you find a local bank in Belize that would work with a crypto exchange?
- Did you end up with an EMI, and if so, which one(s)?
Given that MT is going to be charging a lot of money from next month for Corp accounts that trade in cryptos, I have a couple of questions:
- If I convert my cryptos to fiat in the exchange and then transfer that fiat money into MT, do I still need a Corp+ account?
- What are the alternatives...
