The list of non CRS countries 2019 - 2025

I don't think Australia will mess around with Thailand's stance and the FTAs we have in place, for the sake of a Euro problem. But who knows how influence works indirectly. We will see.

The list of non CRS countries 2019 - 2025

My situation is I have an entity in Australia which is the sales entity. I have the operations entity in Philippines. I figured at some point if not a lot of money is coming back from there at some point the ATO may get curious in an audit. It’s all above board, nothing dodgy in my structure...

The list of non CRS countries 2019 - 2025

Hmm, I doubt they would deny a request from a tax authority from one of their customers basic details. Or maybe they need my approval? I will get to test it out at some point haha I wish Thailand was on that list as that’s where I’d prefer they weren’t talking to each other

The list of non CRS countries 2019 - 2025

Yes, I think most of those non-CRS countries will cooperate if requested by your home country bank. The Philippines has very bureaucratic KYC adherence but I am sure they would be happy to report beneficiaries, tax and banking information if required. Maybe I am wrong as I haven't tested it...

How many of you invest in foreign Real estate and How was your experience good or bad ?

The returns in my home country are superior to where I bought, but I bought in Thailand on a tourist island. The villa is always busy with bookings, with some crazies even booking right through the rainy seasons. However, there are a lot of outgoings with villas, so the yield is mild to...

How many of you invest in foreign Real estate and How was your experience good or bad ?

I think real estate is always a good passive earner and wealth builder because the capital gain (in the right markets) is strong on its own, but coupled with the fact that it's geared so as someone else is paying all of your holding costs throughout the loan period, and the property has nil...

Guys, what business are you currently in, and how does your business give you ROI?

Staffing - specialised local staffing, and now offshore staffing services. The former generates excellent revenue but requires years of toil in that industry, and lower ability to scale. Offshore staffing, not yet profitable but very close - slow economy stifled sales this year. Has the...

Guys, what business are you currently in, and how does your business give you ROI?

My gf says the same. If you can sell perceived beauty enhancement to women, they will keep buying and buying.

Sounds heavily socialist to me! But whatever floats your boat.

What issues does Thailand have that you can’t have a tranquil life because of? Vanuatu might fit the bill.

Please help! UAE Freezone + operation in PH

Actually my business is offshore staffing in the Philippines. My sales company is in Australia but we're looking to move it to Dubai so sales invoices are paid to my UAE entity and we relocate ourselves to Dubai also. If you're looking for a transparent and easy service to work with, I can...

Globally - New residency program for remote workers

If you reside there for the year (with family if you have one), you can show your actual residency has moved and satisfy tax residency rules in most jurisdictions. I am not sure about US Citizens though.... probably not? If you are employed back home and simply working from overseas, then that...

Globally - New residency program for remote workers

I could do a year in Anguilla thanks... with that visa you become a non-resident in your home country. Not bad for freelancers who can work remote.

    SG company with UOB account

Yes, they do need a resident nominee director, so there's an extra cost. There is an offshore status for SG companies from what I have seen. I just searched a few links to read more about it: https://www.paulhypepage.com/offshore-company-incorporation/...

    SG company with UOB account

With Singapore, I believe you need to satisfy certain criteria to make sure your business qualifies as offshore, other than simply selling a service offshore and not in Singapore itself. Additional factors such as revenue not being remitted to Singapore, Directors being outside of Singapore...
