How on earth is EUSSR still standing?

EU is not so bad like some people say, eh? It is true, yes, that they want to monitor every citizen and make all countries inside EU the same, this is the goal. But also, they do many good things, no?

One money (Euro), one alliance against Russia, more defense in Europe, and so on. Me, I don’t have big problem to be an EU citizen.

could you list the good things please?

Used to be good, free trade is great idea. Now its ran by insane brainwashed people. Green ideology is crazy, it's killing business. I know it from my experience , doing business in EU, additional green taxes are added on different things like transport, energy which is crucial for business competitiveness. Tax I paid is called "stop carbon save the planet tax" rof/%rof/%rof/% Where is the money going ? Perhaps for acommodation for illegal refugees, Ukraine or maybe ideological brainwashing campaings. It's rough and I thhink EU will get trumped by US. Recently Ive been to Climate museum in Bremerhaven, Germany. Its propaganda show like museums in Soviet Union about Lenin etc. Thats where my money is going towards likely.

I know a guy that is app developer and he said there is entire business of creating apps for the sole purpose of getting finance out of UE rof/% like LGBT dating app, climate app, probably some ukraine app. Well if its financed from your taxes then you stop laughing

None of those things truly exist though. I know Fuhrer Von Der Leyen gets in front if microphone and tells you they are, but in reality, there is no unity (huge disagreements between countries and at military level), no defense (name a competent European army?)

Ursula just said that she wants your savings parked in your EU bank account... move fast! ;)

"
1) Brussels – The European Union needs money it does not have when so much of it is sleeping in banks and could be used to finance the economy

2) Christine Lagarde, offers numbers that help understand the scale of the challenge. “From 2031,
- we will need 800 billion euros a year to meet the European targets of a 90 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.”
Total: eight trillion by 2040.
And then, Lagarde reminds us, “We need €75 billion a year to meet the NATO spending target of 2 per cent of GDP for defence.”

3) There is a European wealth that does not benefit Europe. Stopping the money outflow does not appear possible, and finding the money needed is far from easy.
At the state budget level, “there is not a lot of money available,” admits Bruno Le Maire, France’s finance minister.
But, on the other hand, there is idle available money, and plenty of it. “Europeans’ savings amount to €35 trillion, and a third, more than 10 trillion, are sleeping in bank accounts.
That’s money sleeping and not working, when Europeans’ money is supposed to contribute to growth, research, employment.”

Very sensitive public statements, those of Le Maire, which risk creating ill-feeling. But the key is all here, in knowing how to “mobilize household savings, which are important for sustaining our challenges,” acknowledges Vincent van Peteghem, finance minister of Belgium, the country with the rotating presidency of the EU Council. This will be the key. But it will have to be done right. Hence, the French initiative for a capital markets union.

They will get your money if held in EU one way or another i.e wealth tax, green tax or defense tax etc. It is just a matter of when and how they sell a scheme to encumber these funds of the general EU public.

Probably Horizon 2020 (now Horizon Europe) funding *sigh*

Taxed to death, highly bureaucratic, entrepreneurial spirit destroyed, handouts to the undeserving and so on. Even on vacation I feel suffocated, one can just feel it in the air, most of the continent just feels off.
They will remain for the next 50 years at least!

This is so true. I know plenty of EU "startups" that have no traction, no customers, no revenue, no realistic business model... yet they get funded by EU as they are either "green", "inclusive" or BS like that.
I went to some startup meetings in EU and it's so cringe to even listen for longer than two minutes. Slimy people.
It's a giant circle jerk... the ones that evaluates startups are people grown up in bruxelles, their employer has always been EU, usually studied liberal arts or psychology or polsci and they are the ones deciding the startups to promote (and were the funds will go).
They know nothing about economy nor business. They never ran a business.
I don't know what they teach there... I know plenty of friends that once go to study at some EU backed university, they come back as monsters.
It's like they get brainwashed with this EU thing being the ultimate savior. They come back with serial killer stare rof/% it's either EU or nothing... they know it all.
They fund startups aligned with their ideology. They don't fund "the next unicorn". They fund political activists...
It's embarrassing. They fund "friends" that they know are aligned with a "stronger EU" that will guarantee their actual and future career.
And if you get the funds you'll be forced to apply the blue flag anywhere, in your forehead too.
Its a cult really.
I also know guys that are smarter than them, they grab the money, do nothing, stay afloat faking it (while doing nothing), go to the events, know what words to say (meaningless but they want to hear those), they deceive them and enjoy life, pretty much for free... then get other funds, rinse and repeat.
Aka if you build a social network for lesbian ants to survive global warming, and you show up with pink hair, nose ring, and unshaven armpits, you'll get funded first time!

Pavel is supporting Article 10.1 of ECHR and EU is supporting Article 10.2...lol. There is no such thing as free speech in EU and hence EU can interfere as Article 10.2 makes it clear free speech is restricted and limited to what those in charge like to hear ;)

Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights

Article 10 – Freedom of expression

  1. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers. 2. The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society, in the interests of national security, territorial integrity or public safety, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights of others, for preventing the disclosure of information received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and impartiality of the judiciary.
