Britain's populist Reform UK party presented plans on Monday to offer wealthy, often foreign newcomers a "Britannia Card" to gain exemption from tax on international wealth, income or gains for 10 years for a one-off, 250,000-pound ($336,000) payment.

So that works out at £25,000 a year to be a UK non-dom for 10 years. But that is cheaper than what long term non-doms in UK were previously paying i.e £30,000 a year ns2. I think Reform party have no idea how to do basic maths or they are leaving money on the table.

It would be cheaper than Trumps golden visa I suppose and other non-dom schemes such as Italy that charge 200k euro a "year" alone :(. £250k for 10 years of no tax on offshore earnings seems like a bargin it will 100% be oversubscribed.

In any case I would not move to UK under such a scheme or if Reform came to power. If you think Trump is bad right now let Reform Party manage the UK economy and see what it will look like after 12 months.
