Is it possible to meet physical residency without being there?

There's a lot of citizenship paths around the world, but most of them require you to spend at least X years in that country.

My question is can you hack your way out of having to live there?

How do they know you live there the entire X years if you setup your proof documents in the first year and somehow leave the country without stamping your passport.

The question boils down to: can I obtain citizenship of fraudulent grounds? The answer is yes, you can. But if it's ever discovered, you risk losing your citizenship.
