I am looking to upgrade my account and I have not found the answer to this on upgrade page. When it says "Not for commercial use / Businesses" that essentially means not to promote your own business/service?

If my requirement is only to find solutions about structuring my business or finances, and I have nothing to promote as a service, then I don't need Gold.

Or, is there any other difference between the two?

Mentor Group Gold is primarily for users who want to sell something here on OCT or otherwise promote a product or service they offer. It’s also for those who want to advertise their website via a link in their signature.

That's true, light will do it.

no

Damn I could of just bought light. I don't remember seeing that option.
Could have done the same, but if you calculate the price of the mentor group gold premium plan for the number of months you get, it actually turns out to be cheaper than if you bought the light version for those five months, since there's no package price for the light plan.

That’s at least what I worked out.

@bountymounty Actually you are right about that. I will first upgrade to Light and if the inside threads and resources are as valuable as what everyone talks about then it is indeed better value for money to upgrade for 5 months. I was afraid if there is any other difference in terms of what you can access or ask.

I see that you've already received an answer to your question and am glad to hear you're considering upgrading your account. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here, and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

Ah yeah your right. Only $57/month for the 5 month plan!
