Self rule in Greenland

So we are soon going to see an another independent country called as Greenland. However I am not sure whether Greenland if became a country would be economically independent not considering the aid provided by other European countries.

It will be great for Greenland to be independent, but they will still need help from Denmark as I see it, at least in the very beginning.
