since you said american citizens/legal permanent residents cannot escape FATCA, what about legal permanent residents of canada/australia/new zealand? are they just as well forced to declare offshore bank accounts like americans or not? what about other nations that dont have specific laws pertaining to offshore bank accounts? rsvp
