Mate, this was an old post. Revolut has now a Bank license, so they'll report you.
You can still make little tricks with Transferwise, but they will report soon
I've thinking on that. Money I have available is 40K aprox and I want to invest it. If I use "darks" or third parties like that, I lose the control of my money. If something goes wrong or the crowdfunding platform asks for selfies, info update, etc...I'm dead, money 100% lost.
At the same time...
Very interesting. Apart from that, my worries are on CRS to my EU country. Let's imagine I have a UK LTD and transfer 20K GBP from my Georgia personal account to the UK LTD. I think my EU country will know I have and LTD with 23K Euros
Hello guys,
I have some money in Georgia not declared in my EU country of origin. My idea is make that money work via Crowdlending or Real Estate Crowdfunding and gain about 10% anual interest on that.
The problem comes with my EU country where I live. If I register on any of that platforms...
As @Gediminas says, I don't want to be wrong understood. My friend was a Russian citizen with very clean background, with Stripe approved, marketing website and all stuff ready. Maybe the only red flag for bankera was to be russian citizenship, despite he had a true working UK ltd company...
A friend of mine applied for business account, paid 250€ and they never didn't open the account. He presented all the documentation, credentials, legit business, etc...
Be aware
I opened a new account and now they don't offer IBAN. Besides, I tried to order the card and it's temporary unvailable
Maybe they were depending on UK license? (maybe Brexit)
