Is this place a reliable paypal alternative? It looks like a good deal, but the site itself doesn't look all that re-assuring. Anyone used it?

The truth is that you have to have a lot of money to be able to take on the big companies (amazon, play etc. in England) at their own game. You could have some success in a more niche area, but then the large sites are somewhat catering for that anyway now.
It makes me wonder how much research the people behind these things do if they can make such simple mistakes - it doesn't give an impression that they're particulay serious about what they are trying to put forward.
I'm still waiting to see how serious google actually are about this OS. I might be inclined to try it on a laptop, but I don't want something lightweight and so internet based on my home computer.
America needs health care reform. So to me its a shame that this is turning out to be such a wasted oppurtunity. I see little hope for much good coming out of it.
For an ecommerce site definately get your own template - and make sure its a respectable looking one. I know as a consumer I'm a lot less likely to buy from an online store which looks bad, in the same way I'm unlikely to walk into a store that looks bad. I also think a simple, clutter free...
The most important thing in my mind is unique and regular content - thats the best way of keeping a regular supply a traffic to your website. For many types of website that should be the basis and things such as advertising and database submission should be complimentary.
